In this issue are some new ideas for illustrations. For example, usually illustrations are placed in a frame, but you can also put an illustration ON a page. With 3D illustrations this is possible, it looks special (page 6). Or draw with light. Don’t start with a white sheet, on which you put pencil lines, but start with black and clip on a light to see the image (page 9).
A 3D illustration is a space in which the illustration is. Kind of like a shoe-box diorama. You can easily move the camera somewhere else in the space to highlight a detail, or show things from a different angle (pages 10 and 13). Or you can create an animation, which you can use online for your magazine, or in a presentation (scan QR code).
